Ingredients

  • Chicken breast fillet150 g
  • Romaine lettuce100 g
  • Avocado0.5 piece
  • Cherry tomatoes100 g
  • Cucumber50 g
  • Red onion20 g
  • Lime juice2 tbsp
  • Extra virgin olive oil1 tbsp
  • Fresh cilantro leaves1 tbsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste

Preparation

  1. Season the chicken breast fillet with salt and pepper and cook in a pan with a little oil until done. Then let cool and cut into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Wash the romaine lettuce and cut into strips. Halve the cherry tomatoes, dice the cucumber, and slice the red onion into fine rings.

  3. Remove the pit from half an avocado, scoop out the flesh, and cut into cubes.

  4. For the dressing, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, chopped cilantro, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

  5. Combine all prepared ingredients in a large bowl and pour the dressing over them. Mix everything well and serve immediately.

💡 Tip: For an extra flavor note, you can add a pinch of cumin to the dressing or season the chicken with paprika powder before frying.
