Season the chicken breast fillet with salt and pepper and cook in a pan with a little oil until done. Then let cool and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Wash the romaine lettuce and cut into strips. Halve the cherry tomatoes, dice the cucumber, and slice the red onion into fine rings.
Remove the pit from half an avocado, scoop out the flesh, and cut into cubes.
